Some breakfasts feel like a treat but work like a tool. This is one of them.

Chocolate and peanut butter is one of those combinations that never gets old, and when it shows up in a high-protein, prep-ahead breakfast, it’s hard to argue with.

These overnight oats are made with Nuzest Clean Lean Protein and take about five minutes to put together the night before.

By morning you’ve got something creamy, satisfying, and genuinely good for you waiting in the fridge, which makes them perfect for busy mornings when you want something quick and ready to go.

The oats and chia seeds provide steady-release carbohydrate and fibre, and Nuzest Clean Lean Protein does the heavy lifting when it comes to keeping you full through the morning. The peanut powder adds that rich flavour without a lot of extra fat. It’s the kind of breakfast that removes a decision from your morning, which is always a win.

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • ⅓ cup rolled oats (or quinoa flakes)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp peanut powder (optional)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 serve Nuzest Clean Lean Protein, Rich Chocolate flavour

Optional toppings

  • 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
  • ¼ banana, sliced
  • ½ tsp chopped peanuts
  • 1 tsp peanut butter drizzle

Method

  1. Add the oats, chia seeds, peanut powder, milk, maple syrup, and Nuzest Clean Lean Protein to a bowl or jar.
  2. Stir well until the mixture becomes thick and creamy.
  3. Add any toppings you’d like, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight.
  4. Enjoy straight from the fridge, or give it a stir before eating for an extra creamy texture.

A few easy swaps

Not a fan of cow milk? Any milk works here, including oat, almond, or full-fat dairy (blue top my fave!). Quinoa flakes are a great gluten-free alternative to rolled oats if that’s something you need to factor in. And if you want to dial up the protein further, a second half-serve of Clean Lean Protein does the job without changing the texture too much.

This one also meal-preps beautifully. Make two or three jars on a Sunday night and your breakfasts are sorted for the first half of the week, no fuss, no thinking required.
