A great way to get ahead on your health for 2022 or the perfect gift for a loved one who may appreciate the thought

STEP 1: Cell Blueprint – online questionnaire
But what is the cell blue print I hear you ask! Well, it asks a series of questions all aimed at getting as much information about your cell health as possible. Ultimately cell dysfunction is the root cause of all disease. If we can prevent that happening then we can create better health in the body and a longer, healthier more fulfilling life at the same time. The questions are broken into 3 key sections and each has a bunch of subsections of their own. PROVIDE, PROTECT and PROMOTE are the 3. Then under each of those we have; mitochondrial health, oxygen use and glucose use. It’s all about energy production and metabolic health. Next section looks at toxins, free radicals, immune dysregulation, infections. Finally the third section looks at: PH balance, hydration, cells place in the body, communication of neurotransmitters – particularly, GABA, Serotonin and dopamine. In addition hormones and cytokines are considered. Movement and rest are also the last few items.
STEP 2: Stress Assessment – online Questionnaire
When it comes to the stress assessment this is a tool to get a subjective read on how the body is coping and dealing with daily stressors. We all have them but we don’t all have to be affected so much by them that they cause us ill-health. So this overlaid with the results from the cell blueprint gives us a great idea of what’s going on in the body and how to we may be able to get things going better than they currently are. The 4 key areas that this questionnaire looks at are:
- Mental Emotional
- Environmental
- Lifestyle
- Health/Body
Importantly you are asked to score both a ‘NOW’ score and a ‘PAST’ score which helps identify if things are calming down or intensifying for you.
STEP 3: REQUESTING BLOODS
With the previous 2 questionnaires completed we have the chance to see what may not be working well and can then plan which bloods to ask for from the doctor. Understanding the difference between medical ranges and functional ranges is best explained in the below picture. When we are looking for OPTIMAL health we ideally want our numbers in the ‘Functional Lab Ranges’. Often we can feel unwell or just not right and our bloods will come back inside medical ranges (remember these are made up from the averages of sick people!) but outside the functional norms. So the doctor may not be prepared to act (because you’re not sick enough) but there is room for improvement in the functional ranges, and you weren’t feeling your best to begin with.

Once we have identified which bloods to request we can then wait for those to come back and they are then added into a spreadsheet which maps them against both medical and functional ranges and helps us decide what lifestyle interventions would be best to assist with working towards optimal health.
This is where the health coaching kicks in – as you can see in the top flow diagram. Choosing which health coaching package is then up to you. There are 3 options, think bronze, silver and gold. Depending on how motivated you are or how much help and support you would like will determine which best suits your needs or roll the same one over multiple times if that works for you.
If this sounds like a journey you would like to begin then hit the link below and we can have a chat to see if it’s right for you. I can find out more about you and suggest which option may be most appropriate to get you operating optimally!
Alternatively if you would like to give this as a gift for someone I can show you the options and you can choose which you would like to give.
Merry Christmas!!!
