There are 3 body type categories which need to be explained before the delve into the world of the guardian.
These develop in the womb as derms or layers of tissue which then have greater amount of energy go into their development as we start to take on human form in the womb and end up being either very much like one of our parent of perhaps a bit of a combo! In short the 3 are: Endomorph, Ectomorph and Mesomorph.
As you can see from the image on the left the sensor fits right in the middle of the Ectomorph category. Each of the other nicknames on the wheel represent other types or blends of bio types or cross overs as mixtures are not unusual when it comes to genes and inheriting from your parents a cocktail of biology rather than a clean single type that stands out on its own. Each type has it's own characteristics and each has different strengths, natural behaviours and tendencies which are tell tale signs of their genetic make up. Often people will resonate with the details of their own profile once they see some of these characteristics and will embrace the information it provides them as they really feel understood. |

Sensor - Strengths
Sensors are focused and determined people liking to see things to their natural end. Not ones to leave a job half done they are ambitious strong minded and meticulous detail oriented and creative.
They are a strong ability to read others and perceive and interact at an intellectual and even spiritual level. They can often think in abstract terms better then the other health types.
Given the space and tools sensors can accomplish significant degrees of mental work. They enjoy learning and detail work. Good at creating systems, strategies and directing work flow. Both disciplined and consistent your sensor can be relied upon to get the job done.
Sensor - Social
Can be seen as quirky and are often misunderstood because they don't shift to accommodate a situation. They remain authentic and true to their nature. Sensors often will not talk about themselves and are not outspoken therefore it can take more effort to learn who they are. Also socially selective sensors will prefer the contact of close friends rather than a room full of acquaintances or even strangers.
In a professional setting they will interact with all other health types well but may prefer those who possess a logical nature to them. However may become frustrated with health types that are unpredictable and illogical.
Sensor - Fitness
They can exercise alone, or with other as long as their mind is engaged.
Yoga, dancing, surfing, balance activities and free climbing works well for them.
Avoiding compression of the spine if a key element of a good programme for the sensor. Activities in warmer climates also suit them as they naturally struggle to maintain body temperature in the colder months.
Sensor - Food
Sensor - Mind, Place, CareerA sensors body likes warmer climates as discussed because of low body fat to keep them warm. They prefer organised efficient places of work and home. Need environments that will soothe their mind at the end of a long day so a disorganised home will really frustrate a sensor. On holiday they will need a warm isolated location - maybe a desert island!! At work a location that is highly independent works well for the sensor as long as they can have low noise, dim lights and minor distractions. Working solo on a task will not phase the sensor a bit. Abstract concepts or theories are not a problem for sensors to be working on. Work needs to be mentally stimulating to the mind is occupied at all times. They will instinctively seek out a quiet, stress free, setting to renew their energy and regain focus. Due to their ability to work alone and focus on their energy the sensor is good at taking on and completing large work intensive projects. Senors may enjoy co workers that are also as focused and independent as they are but are complemented by others who have different skills, strengths and talents. |
